Approving Architectural Change Requests 

In accordance with the CC&R’s all architectural changes to the exterior appearance of your home must be approved prior to commencement of construction.  An architectural change is anything that changes the outside appearance of your home or property such as landscaping, painting, fencing, room additions, roofing, solar, etc.  

The Architectural Review Committee is authorized by the Board to review and approve requests and then report to the other Board Members on the disposition of those requests.  

In rare situations, if a request is deemed too controversial it may have to wait until the Board meeting before approval.  In most cases it will take only a few days for a request to be approved.  Sometimes additional information is required.  The committee will let you know if this happens.  

You may download the ACS (Architectural Change Submittal) form in PDF format on the Members Only page of this website. Instructions for obtaining a password to log on to the Members Only page are contained on the Home page of the website.  After manually filling it out send in the ACS and any supporting documentation using the directions on the form.  

If you haven’t received a response after 10 to 14 days you should email the Architectural Review Committee at arc@fletcherhillshighlandshoa.com and/or the Board at board@fletcherhillshighlandshoa.com and request a status.
